The Metroschifter's Favorite Albums Previous Baseball Simulator Next

In episode #41 of Here’s the Tower, I sat down with my bandmates from the Metroschifter to discuss our favorite albums of all time. You can hear that episode at this link.

Below are all the albums we chose along with links to Apple Music so you can listen to them free if you’re a subscriber or buy them in iTunes. We also selected two songs from each album and made this big playlist of those choices.

This exercise was inspired by the book The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, published by the editors of Rolling Stone magazine. In that book, 273 musicians and critics were polled about their favorite albums and those submitted choices were weighted to produce the final list.

If someone ranked an album as #1, it earned 100 points. A ranking at #2 earned 50 points. A #3 ranking earned 33 1/3 points, and the point values decreased by ranking all the way down to 2 points.

Here is the countdown of our favorite albums. Under each number, they are in this order: Pat’s choice, Chris’ choice, and Scott’s choice.
